Rotary Foundation of Evansville

The Rotary Foundation of Evansville, Inc. was officially formed on October 30, 1990. The foundation primarily, but not exclusively, funds educational and youth projects through community grants. It generally favors projects which have some of the following characteristics:

• Projects which benefit a large number of people

• Projects which might have a life transforming impact on its participants

• Projects with an application providing a detailed description

• Imaginative projects which offer creative solutions to existing problems

• Projects which benefit low income persons

• Technology projects

• One-time projects, rather than annual projects

• Projects which have substantial personal involvement by Rotarians

• Projects requesting $2,000 or less
