ROTARY BELL RINGERS FOR THE          SALAVATION ARMY

Marianne Cox is looking for Rotarians to fill the time slots for the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign / Rotary Bell Ringers program. The date is Saturday, December 8. A listing of all locations for the Rotary Bell Ringers is available from Marianne or at the tables near the sign in sheets. Please give of your time for this most worthy program.

CONDOLANCES

Sincere sympathy is extended to Amy Walker and family on the November 12, death of her brother-in-law Ted Kuhlenschmidt. Ted was also the father of Rotaract member Cory Kuhlenschmidt. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Foundation of Evansville.

HOLIDAY LUNCHEON

Reservations are needed by December 4 for the annual Holiday Luncheon on Tuesday, December 11, at The Centre, Ballroom A. Festivities begin at 11:00 AM with the Tom & Jerry Reception. The Luncheon buffet begins at 11:45 AM. The luncheon is included in the Rotary dues for our Rotary Club members. The cost for our Senior Active Rotary members is $10. For all other Rotary Club members, Rotaract members, and guests the cost is $16. The luncheon will benefit the Fraternal Order of Police P.A.L. Christmas party for underprivileged children. Rotarians may bring a wrapped gift for a child ages 6-12. Packages should be marked indicating a boy or girl and the age. Monetary donations will also be gratefully appreciated in lieu of a gift.

SHARE A SUIT

From Steve Sanders: “Rotarians are being asked to donate their old suits for the annual “Share A Suit Campaign.” The kick-off is December 3 with the Donation Day for Rotary on December 4. At that time, please bring your suits to the Rotary meeting for pick up. Donations may include all appropriate men and women’s business attire.  If you have questions or need to make other arrangements for multiple suit pick-up, please contact Steve Sanders, 962-3333, Steve Schmitt, 424-9979, or Howard Abrams, 474-1074.” Thanks for giving.
