CONDOLANCES

Sincerest sympathy is extended to Martha Rohlfer and family on the September 1, death of C. Randolph “Randy” Rohlfer. Randy was a Rotarian from 1989 until his illness made it impossible to continue to attend Rotary meetings and functions last fall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Foundation of Evansville.

CONGRATULATIONS

Michael Head, CEO / President of First Federal Saving Bank, has been named as a new Foundation Board Member at St. Mary’s. Mehmet Kocakulah, Professor of Accounting at the University of Southern Indiana, has been awarded the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship to teach and study in Turkey. Mehmet will be teaching graduate classes in complete cost / management accounting and research at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Joel and Jane Grizzell are celebrating their 60^th wedding anniversary. Congratulations Mike, Mehment, Joel and Jane.

Once you reach the end of your day and feel you have accomplished everything that needs to be done, don’t leave before you do one more thing. Make a phone call to a contact you have been meaning to get in touch with. File the papers that are piling up on your desk. Write the memo you were going to do tomorrow. At the end of the week you will still have accomplished five more tasks than you would have otherwise. At the end of the month, you will have accomplished 20 more tasks, and over the course of a year you will have knocked out more than 200 extra tasks by doing one extra thin per day.
