THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS Please be sure to keep John “Breck” Breckenridge and Gene Warren close at heart. There are also other Rotarians and Rotarian family members who would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as they recover from accidents, surgery and ill health. WELCOME Welcome back to Ron Grimm who rejoined us on the 15th. SWAT ANALYSIS President Becki Alcorn announced the members of the SWAT committee. They are: Ruthie Shekell, Ron Edele, Marianne Cox, Marilee Fowler Patmore, Steve Jennings, Phil Lieberman and Matt Volkman. The committee has been reviewing the results of the SWAT Analysis done last fall and will present their findings and suggestions for implementation at the May 29 Club Assembly. CLUB ASSEMBLY President-Elect Matt Volkman announced that our Club Assembly will be May 29, at Kahn Dees Donavon and Kahn in the conference room from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Additional information will be provided as the time draws closer.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE From District Governor Judy Witt: our District Conference on April 24-26 will be held near VeVay at Belterra Resort and Spa. This is the first time we will join Ohio District 6670 which includes Dayton and Cincinnati. Why you should attend this Friday/Saturday meeting:1) The international flavor of the conference will be strong. Rotary Youth Exchange Students will represent 15 countries. 2) Rotarians from our district will share their National Immunization Days (NID) experiences. 3) Welcome Rotary International President’s Representative Mr. Ashok Mahajan, Rotary International Director from India and his wife. We are so excited to have an RI Director joining us. 4) Rotary speakers from Maine to Michigan will present. 5) Experience the Family of Rotary with past RI Director Robert Stuart. 6) Many opportunities to get new club project and fund raising ideas from the club displays.7) To hear GSE teams from Brazil, Sweden and Singapore and to give our District 6580 team a warm bon voyage to Brazil. 8) Participate in the District Annual meeting. 9) To make certain your club is represented when awards are presented.10) Socializing and great Rotary fun sprinkled through out the two days. And, most important 11) You are being asked to attend and YOU WILL VERY MUCH BE MISSED! The Ohio District has more clubs but their district conference attendance is generally about the same size as our attendance. That makes me even more proud of this district. I hope you will assure that we continue to be well represented by getting your registration completed now.
