MARCH BOARD MEETING The March Board of Directors meeting will be held on March 20, at 10:45 AM in the G.A.R. Please note the change in time and date. All members are invited to attend. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS Please continue to keep all Rotarians and their families in your thoughts and prayers. DISTRICT CONFERENCE The combined district conference for District 6560 and 6580 is April 20 through April 22 at the newly restored French Lick Hotel and Conference Center. Reservations should be made directly with the French Lick Springs Resort at 1-866-379-2202 or www.frenchlick.com The special Rotary rate is $90/night. Our Club will pay $50 toward the registration fee. Flyers with additional information are available at the sign in tables. ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE A host family is needed! From Andrew Alexander: “We will have an opportunity for a local family to host our inbound exchange student. Lubo is from Slovakia and has a good command of English. He attends the Signature School and is much like a typical teenager. Lubo has made numerous friends. As mentioned at our Rotary meeting, we will help arrange transportation to and from school for Lubo, as this is often a prospective family’s primary concern. Consider discussing this unique opportunity to spend several months as an ambassador for our Club and our country with your spouse, family, good friends or neighbors. Keep in mind our host family does not have to be a Rotarian. Please contact Steve Groves, 434-4880 or steve@01inc.com or Andrew Alexander, 476-1456, or Andrew.alexander@sci-us.com to express your interest.” THANK YOU To: Ruthie Shekell and all Rotarians who participated in making the Civic Award a real surprise and successful event. To: Kenan L. Schultheis, agent and principal of Schultheis Insurance Agency in Evansville, who has been elected to the board of directors of State Automobile Mutual Insurance Co. of Columbus, Ohio.
