THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

Please be sure to keep Ron Grimm, recovering from by-pass surgery, and Joel Grizzell, who is ill, close at heart. There are also other Rotarians and Rotarian family members who would appreciate your thoughts and prayers as they recover from accidents, surgery and ill health.

MEETING MAKE-UPS

Are you keeping your Rotary attendance up? There are two ways to do a make-up. You may attend another Club in person at numerous locations or you may do your make-up on line. To meet the requirements of a meeting make-up you must attend within the two week period before or after the Rotary meeting you will or have missed. Be sure to check your copy of the Rotations – e-mailed and hard copy - for the day, location and time for Rotary make-ups. You may also make-up on line anytime at www.rotaryeclubone.org.

The March Board of Directors meeting will be held on March 11 at 10:45 AM in the GAR Room at the Coliseum. All Board members are strongly requested to attend. Please contact Becki Alcorn if you cannot attend.

PAUL HARRIS FELLOWS

The deadline for submitting nominations for a Paul Harris Fellow is March 15. The nomination forms were on the tables on the 4th and will be again on the 11th.  For those attending the meeting on the 11th, the nomination forms may be given to Mary Arnold or they may be sent to Teri Hollander Albin anytime up to the deadline. Please do not send to Ruthie Shekell, as she is on vacation and out of the office until Monday, March 17.

ROTARY'S ROTATIONS  MAGAZINE

As a Rotarian, you receive the monthly Rotary International Rotations magazine. Do you read the articles?  Do you look at the worldwide membership figures? Do you check the classifieds? There is a wealth of information in the magazine to keep you informed. Take a few minutes to learn what Rotary is doing.  Your Rotary Member ID# is located above your mailing address on this magazine.
