WATER PROJECT

Contact Alan Winslow if you are interested in being part of a delegation to El Salvador in July 2008 to review the existing water projects and look for potential project areas.

WESSELMAN WOODS NATURE PRESERVE

Vic Chamness, will be a guest at the January 22 meeting to give an overview and layout of the plans for the Civic Project at Wesselman Woods. He will speak prior to the scheduled speaker, Quinn Buckner.

CONDOLANCES

Sympathy is extended to Barbie and Doug Brown and family on the January 9 death of Doug’s mother, Sybil Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rotary Foundation of Evansville.

CIVIC AWARD - DATE CHANGE

The meeting date for the annual Rotary Civic Award will be February 26 instead of the previously noted January 29.

CELEBRATION OF LEADERSHIP

The deadline for nominations for the upcoming “Celebration Of Leadership” is January 22, 2008.  You may nominate online at www.leadershipevansville.org This is the first step toward the Jefferson Award and the Jackie Kennedy Onassis Service to the Community Award.

MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS

Steve Groves will present the Memorial Resolution for C. Randolph “Randy” Rohlfer and Harry Lukens will present for Roxie Bass at the meeting on January 22.

JOINT ROTARY MEETING - HENDERSON

The joint Rotary meeting with the Henderson (KY) Club has been rescheduled for April 15 at the Coliseum with our Club hosting.
